Omdöme - Ett totalt sett starkt koncept

Redmi Note 8 är ytterligare en framgångsrik instegstelefon från Xiaomi som har rejält med kraft för den som har en budget att förhålla sig till. Xiaomi har inkluderat utomordentlig hårdvara för priset på runt 1.500 kronor även om det är värt att tänka på att det priset bara gäller den importerade versionen. Konstruktionen och hantverket är av hög kvalitet och vi gillade den stora IPS-skärmen. Även om den sistnämnda inte har samma kontrastförhållande som en OLED-panel använder den inte PWM för att reglera ljusstyrkan vilket är en bonus för personer som är känsliga för den typen av flimmer.
Xiaomi har knappt behövt skära ner på några andra områden heller, men toppmodellen med 128 GB lagring och 6 GB RAM kostar nästan lika mycket som Mi 9T och Mi 9 SE. Även om Redmi Note 8 matchar sina Mi-syskon på många områden kan den inte konkurrera när det kommer till kameran.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 är en framgångsrik instegstelefon. Se bara till att du köper rätt version.
Ett ord om att köpa den importerade varianten från Kina. För det första kan garantiärenden och returer bli kostsamma på ett annat sätt än för en lokalt köpt telefon. För det andra kan den Kinesiska versionen av Redmi Note 8 bara strömma DRM-skyddat innehåll i standardupplösning, en nackdel som den Europeiska modellen inte lider av. Till sist har den Kinesiska modellen inte Google Play-tjänsterna förinstallerade även om de kan installeras i efterhand. Men det är få telefoner för under 2.000 kronor som erbjuder så mycket som Redmi Note 8, så vi kan helhjärtat rekommendera att ta en titt på den Europeiska versionen om du oroar dig över problemen med den Kinesiska modellen.
