Out of all the recent budget smartphones that I have tested this year, the Poco M6 Plus is clearly one of the good ones. While it might not have a fancy design or standout features, it has everything that one comes to expect from a modern smartphone. If you are looking for a new 5G smartphone under Rs 15,000, this is definitely one of the devices worth considering this year.

However, it falls short in several areas. The bulky design, lacklustre display, and average camera performance make it less appealing for users looking to purchase a well-balanced budget 5G phone. In the bustling sub-₹15,000 segment, POCO has made a name for itself with budget-friendly phones like the POCO C65, which offered solid performance but lacked 5G connectivity. Now, POCO is shaking things up with the POCO M6 Plus 5G, a new entrant in the budget 5G market. This model mirrors the Redmi 13 5G in specifications and performance but with a new design twist.

For the price tag of Rs 13,499, the Poco M6 Plus is a decent performer with some drawbacks especially in Camera and Display department. However, if you want a long-lasting smartphone with a good amount of features on offer and are also on a strict budget, the Poco M6 Plus can be considered over the competition.

The POCO M6 Plus is a solid recommendation for those seeking an all-rounder smartphone with 5G support. It offers decent performance for the price, and the cameras can capture pleasing photos in ample lighting conditions. Low-light shots are not its biggest strength, but that applies to almost all smartphones in this range. However, the best performer in this segment remains the iQOO Z9x, at least based on our benchmarks, making it a strong choice for hardcore gamers. Some users might also be torn between the POCO M6 Plus and the Redmi 13 5G, as they share many similarities. In that case, I’d recommend opting for the cheaper option, as both phones offer good performance in several aspects. If you’re getting the POCO M6 Plus with some lucrative deals, it’s worth considering.

Qualcomm Adreno 613: Grafikchip för smartphones och surfplattor, integrerat i Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. Även om det är efterföljaren till Adreno 619 i SD 4 Gen 1, är dess prestanda betydligt lägre i instegsklassen.

Bara vissa äldre spel kan spelas flytande med de här grafikkorten. Kretsar med delat minne har fördelen att de utvecklar mindre värme och ger längre batteritid. De duger gott för kontorsbruk, surfande och enklare bildbehandling, men spel och HD-video är inte i syftet med de här kretsarna.
