The Realme 7 is sensational value for the money. It looks great, it performs as well as phones that cost 50% more, and the battery will go the distance. Features like a 90Hz screen are just icing on an already delicious and cost-effective cake. There is a ‘but’ though. And that ‘but’ comes in the form of the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC. For just £20 more – or the same money as the 8GB/128GB version of the Realme 7 we were sent – you get a phone that’s better in every way. Narrowly better in the case of the cameras and performance, but the screen is significantly better, and manages an even higher 120Hz refresh rate in the process. Realistically, you’ll be happy with either. But if you want to make every pound count, it’s Poco all the way.

As with every product, pricing is crucial. However, Realme, especially the Realme 1, 3, 5, 6 and 7-series are all budget-oriented and have always offered a true bang-for-the-buck deal. Sure, the Realme 7 is now just a little pricier than the Realme 6 but the added value is much-appreciated. Even though this isn't exactly a generational upgrade, it does stand on a couple of key improvements like the huge 5,000 mAh battery and the 6GB of RAM as a standard. We are yet to see what the TÜV Rheinland Smartphone Reliability Verification means too.

Realme är ett nytt märke i Sverige, men i Kina har de funnits sedan 2018, och dessutom har de BBK Electronics som moderbolag, samma företag som ligger bakom mobilmärkena Oneplus, Oppo med flera. Därför är det inte så konstigt att det inte märks att mobilen kommer från ett nytt märke när man öppnar kartongen. Det mesta känns bekant och polerat, och varken till det yttre eller i mobilens inre behöver man oroa sig för några nybörjarfel.

So, if you are, anyway, going to spend that Rs 1,000, why not spend it on the more capable Realme 6? But if you are short of Rs 1,000, Realme 7i is a decent phone for its price that you can buy for Rs 11,999.

In general, it has 90Hz, it has 5000mAh large battery, this device wasn’t made for heavy gaming but for multitasking and browsing with ease. It is not dedicated to gaming anymore, but it can play medium on PUBG, in short, it can do casual gaming. It has better multitasking though thanks to more ram offerings, faster UFS 2.1 storage, and although 4K resolution video is a bit on the downside on its camera, 1080p quality is still for social media.

The realme 7i is coming out strong with a PHP 11,990 price tag, considering that it has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. We’ve been using this device for about two weeks now, and so far, we like it. From having a smooth 90hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery that can last the whole day without charging, plus an 18W fast charging capabilities, and a decent set of cameras with 64MP sensors, the realme 7i indeed is one of a reliable device.

En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.
