The features you get at this price are just amazing and we expected none less from a company of this magnitude. Speaking of the performance, FX505DV provides supreme performance when it comes to 1080p gaming, thanks to the combination of an efficient processor like AMD Ryzen 7 3750H and a powerful graphics card like NVIDIA RTX 2060. The performance of the laptop could have been better if a Hexa-core processor was used, as the processor bottlenecks the graphics card in various situations. Apart from the raw performance, the display of the laptop felt absolutely amazing for gaming, although there could be improvements in the colour reproduction sector.

What the ASUS TUF Gaming Alliance FX505DV tries to do instead is to offer a solid gaming experience while at a price that will not be beyond the reach of the average consumer. This would’ve been a prime contender for our ‘Bang for Buck’ award, but we feel that this offers just enough in terms of performance and presentation to tip the scales into something a little more impressive! This laptop has style, performance, and certainly a brand name you can trust. Added together with the excellent CPU and GPU pairing, while this might be the first laptop I’ve encountered with a Ryzen processor, it’s a great product to kick things off and I’m certain it won’t be the last we see of them from ASUS.

Asus:
Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.
AMD Radeon RX 560X (Laptop):
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile:
Grafikkort från mittenskiktet baserat på Nvidias Pascal-arkitektur och efterföljare till GeForce 960M. Tillverkas i en 14nm-process hos Samsung och dom tekniska specifikationerna är väldigt lika desktop-versionen.
De här grafikkorten bör klara av alla nuvarande spel med acceptabel bildfrekvens, men inte nödvändigtvis med höga inställningar. Särskilt krävande spel kanske bara fungerar med låga inställningar. Till skillnad från prestandakorten hittar man däremot de här grafikkorten i bärbara datorer av lite mindre format med bättre batteritid.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Mobile:
Dedikerat grafikkort från mittenskiktet för bärbara datorer baserat på desktop-kortet GTX 1660 Ti och använder därför Turing-arkitekturen utan raytracing och Tensor-kärnor. Max-P varianten bör påminna om det äldre GTX 1070.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Mobile:
Dedikerat grafikkort från mittenskiktet för bärbara datorer baserat på desktop-kortet GTX 1650 och är därför baserat på Turing-arkitekturen (TU117-chipp i 12mnm FFN) utan raytracing och Tensor-kärnor.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile:
Bärbart grafikkort från mittenskiktet/toppskiktet baserat på Turing-arkitekturen med raytracing-funktioner och 1920 shaders. Jämfört med desktop-kortet med samma namn har det lägre klockfrekvenser.
