Spel utan kompromisser!

Corsair One-serien har funnits tillgänglig i flera år och får nu ytterligare en hårdvaruuppgradering. Intels senaste Alder Lake-flaggskepp kombineras med Nvidias näst snabbaste Ampere-grafikkort i det kompakta 12-litershöljet. I den här recensionen, med många tester och benchmarks, får du reda på vad systemet kan göra och hur den här modellgenerationen klarar sig i daglig drift.

Corsair har sålt One-serien sedan 2018, som innehåller aktuell spelhårdvara i ett kompakt hölje med vattenkylning. Vi såg redan iCorsair One i160att det här systemet fungerar.

På årets CES tillkännagav Corsair en uppdatering för Corsair One som är utrustad med den aktuella Alder Lake-serien, som nu har återfått prestandakronan som den snabbaste spelprocessorn. Utöver den Intel Core i9-12900Kinnehåller Corsair även enNvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. Båda komponenterna ger en utmärkt grund för 4K-spel utan kompromisser. Efter våra första tester kunde vi också bekräfta detta, även om tillverkaren fortfarande håller Intel Core i9-12900K något i koppel. Mer om detta senare i testet. När det gäller de kraftfulla komponenterna finns det också gott om 64 GB arbetsminne och en blixtsnabb 2 TB SSD inklusive den professionella versionen av Windows 11.

Corsair begär 5100 euro (~5724 dollar) för systemet som det är utrustat i vårt test. Om du nöjer dig med 32 GB arbetsminne och enNvidia GeForce RTX 3080får du betala exakt 1000 euro (~1122 dollar) mindre.

Visuellt sett kan man knappt skilja fallet för Corsair One i300 från denCorsair One i160, och när det gäller valet av material har tillverkaren också behållit samma koncept med alla ytor i metall som ger ett högkvalitativt intryck inte bara när det gäller utseendet. Haptiken ger också ett intryck av att alltid ha en mycket högkvalitativ produkt i händerna. Den svarta, blygsamma designen präglas av två RGB-ljusskenor framtill, som kan justeras enligt dina önskemål med hjälp av iCUE-programvaran. Utförandet är toppklassigt och vi såg inga fel. Utformningen av insidan ger utrymme för två oberoende vattenkylningssystem för CPU och GPU.

Trots sin kompakthet väger den lilla datorn 7,5 kg. Man skulle inte förvänta sig detta vid första anblicken, men detta bekräftar också de använda materialen, eftersom i ett så litet hölje måste allt möjligt användas för att överföra den värme som skapas

Utrustning - Den mest aktuella

I One i300 använder Corsair ett konventionellt Mini-ITX-moderkort från MSI. För att vara exakt använder Corsair MSI MEG Z690I Unify i vår testenhet. Med detta är den stationära datorn också välutrustad med externa anslutningar. Det finns totalt 8 USB-portar på baksidan, varav två även stöder Thunderbolt 4. Framsidan rymmer ytterligare 3 USB-portar. Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti i sig själv lägger också till 3x DisplayPort och en HDMI-anslutning.

När det gäller nätverksanslutningar kan användaren välja antingen WLAN enligt den mest aktuella standarden eller Ethernet (2,5G).

Kommunikation

Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211-modulen som är inbyggd i huvudkortet är den senaste tillgängliga modulen, så du kan också använda Wi-Fi 6G-nätverk. Med hjälp av vår aktuella testrouter, som också stöder den senaste standarden, levererar Corsair One i300 snabba och stabila överföringshastigheter i vårt WLAN-test.

Obs: Eftersom vår testenhet tyvärr skickades till oss utan de ursprungliga WLAN-antennerna utförde vi det här testet med alternativa antenner. Vi kan för närvarande inte säga om överföringshastigheterna är ens något bättre när vi använder originalantennerna.

Underhåll

Om prestandan hos Corsair One i300 är otillräcklig eller om lagringslösningen är för liten kan du också uppgradera datorn. Du bör dock vara försiktig eftersom utrymmet inuti är mycket begränsat. Den stationära datorn kan lätt öppnas. Det övre höljet med 140 mm fläkten tas snabbt bort och sidokåporna fästs endast med två skruvar. Men då kommer AiOs slangar att hindra ett snabbt byte av komponenterna. Medan du fortfarande kan komma åt arbetsminnet ganska enkelt ser det svårare ut om du vill komma åt lagringslösningen. Av den anledningen hade vi velat ha ytterligare ett alternativ i de tillgängliga konfigurationerna, eftersom det finns totalt tre M.2-platser på moderkortet. Systemet är dock redan välutrustat med 2 TB lagringsutrymme.

Prestanda

Om man ser enbart till de komponenter som används erbjuder Corsair One i300 mycket snabba processorer för spel med Intel Core i9-12900KochNvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. För närvarande är GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Nvidias näst snabbaste grafikkort och ligger bara några få procentenheter bakom GeForce RTX 3090. Även om det också hade kunnat passa in i höljet om man bara ser till den fysiska storleken, har kylningen av VRAM-chipen förmodligen fått Corsair att "bara" använda ett GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. Den något svagare modellen av Corsair One i300 är utrustad med ett GeForce RTX 3080, vilket kanske är det mer rimliga valet på grund av dess lägre inköpspris.

Processor

Corsair One i300 är utrustad med Intels snabbaste processor som för närvarande finns tillgänglig för spel. För att vara exakt använder CorsairIntel Core i9-12900Kbaserad på ett Z690-kort från MSI. Vi kunde redan i förväg se vilken prestanda som kan levereras av det nya flaggskeppet från Intel. För ytterligare detaljer om Intel Core i9-12900Khänvisar vi till denna sida. Det finns dock en liten begränsning i Corsair One i300 när det gäller den maximala strömförbrukningen. PL1 och även PL2 är begränsade till värdena 165 respektive 175 watt, vilket innebär att processorn stryps något under belastning. Utan denna begränsning skulle den Intel Core i9-12900Kkunna förbruka upp till 241 watt. Å andra sidan kan detta alternativ ändras i BIOS. Men detta skulle då också resultera i en högre ljudvolym och högre temperaturer.

I det riktmärke vi kör klarar sig Intel Core i9-12900K mycket bra, även om den inte kan använda sin fulla prestanda under belastning. Prestandatillväxten jämfört med den Corsair One i160 är enorm. I det totala betyget erbjuder det nuvarande systemet 48 % mer prestanda.

Lösning för lagring

Som redan nämnts ovan är Corsair One i160 utrustad med två lagringsmoduler. Systemet är installerat på en snabb PCIe SSD med 512 GB från Samsung, och det finns också en konventionell hårddisk med 2 TB lagringsutrymme.

I testet levererade SSD:n från Samsung en mycket bra prestanda som gynnade hela systemet. För en ännu bättre total prestanda borde Corsair dock ha utrustat datorn enbart med SSD-diskar. Den genomsnittliga överföringshastigheten för Seagates hårddisk var 107 MB/s. Även om detta värde inte är dåligt har en hårddisk jämfört med en SSD betydande nackdelar när det gäller prestanda.

Tyvärr erbjuder det kompakta höljet inget utrymme för ytterligare lagringsmoduler.

I det kompakta spelsystemet använder Corsair enNvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Tisom är nästan identisk med en Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 när det gäller prestanda. Med 12 GB VRAM erbjuder den dock bara hälften så mycket RAM som Nvidias toppmodell, men det spelar ingen större roll med de aktuella spelen. Med detta erbjuder systemet absolut prestanda när det gäller spel. Kylningen av grafikkortet är mycket väl utformad, eftersom en AiO används som i CPU:n. Spelprestanda

Eftersom Corsair använder den senaste hårdvaran i One i300 var det tydligt att systemets spelprestanda också ligger på toppnivå. För närvarande kan du njuta av alla spel utan några kompromisser i 2160p. Jämfört med de andra stationära GPU:er som vi tidigare testat visar sig prestandan i vår testenhet vara betydligt bättre. Den relativt stora fördelen jämfört med Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 beror på den bättre processorn i Corsair One i300. Vårt GPU-testsystem är baserat på en AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, som har en betydande nackdel jämfört med Intel Core i9-12900K.

Som redan i CPU-testerna satte vi även grafikkortet under belastning under en längre tidsperiod. För att göra detta använder vi "The Witcher 3" med förinställningen Ultra. Under testet har prestandan hos Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Tistabilt hela tiden och vi märker inga prestandaförluster. Med ett genomsnitt på 189 bilder per sekund körs spelet mycket bra, vilket gör att du även kan använda skärmar med 165 Hz.

Kylningen av Corsair One i300 bygger på samma metod som Corsair One i160. Vid 2D-drift går systemet relativt tyst med cirka 32,6 dB(A). Vid denna tidpunkt går inte den stora 140-mm-fläkten ännu, men du kan höra de två pumparna i AiO och deras ljud är alltid närvarande. Tyvärr är detta inte särskilt behagligt i längden. Det måste också finnas några pumpar som kan utföra sitt arbete samtidigt som de är betydligt tystare. Under belastning börjar 140-mm-fläkten i höljets lock också att gå efter en kort tid. Vid 44 dB(A) under stresstestet kan systemet då höras tydligt. Under spelandet blir det till och med lite högre med något mer än 46 dB(A).

Det massiva höljet har en mycket stor yta för att möjliggöra värmeöverföring. Under belastning värms detta upp märkbart, och den så kallade skorstenseffekten ser till att den svala luften dras in från sidorna och leds direkt förbi kylfenorna på de två AiO:erna för att sedan tryckas ut ur höljet av den stora 140 mm fläkten på toppen. För effektiv kylning av grafikkortet är detta dessutom utrustat med två mindre fläktar för att kyla transformatorn och VRAM.

Detta kylningskoncept fungerar bra och alla komponenter kyls effektivt utan att överhettas vid full belastning. CPU:n nådde dock ändå 100 °C under stresstestet. Detta visar varför Corsair stryper prestandan till maximalt 175 watt. De för vilka de 100 °C fortfarande är för varma kan också minska prestandan ytterligare i BIOS. Temperaturerna på Intel Core i9-12900Kutgör fortfarande inga problem, vilket vi redan fick reda på under Cinebench R15 Multi-slingan. Stresstestet med FurMark och Prime95 som körs samtidigt representerar ett extremt scenario som knappast borde inträffa i daglig drift

När det gäller strömförbrukningen sticker systemet ut med en låg förbrukning vid tomgångsdrift. Endast 56 watt är ett bra värde. Under spelandet måste det kompakta nätaggregatet på 750 watt (SFF-bygge) tillhandahålla 489 watt i genomsnitt, med toppar som når upp till 544 watt. Under stresstestet uppmätte vi till och med kortvarigt 635 watt. Nätaggregatet klarade alltid av detta och vi märkte inga problem.

Även om Corsair One i300 inte är en fullständig nyhet är detta inte absolut nödvändigt. Utseendet på den kompakta premiumdatorn är enkelt och modernt. Dessutom gör den interna designen det möjligt att använda konventionella komponenter när det gäller moderkortet och nätaggregatet. Endast kylsystemet är en egen konstruktion. I vår testmodell gör det tyvärr inte rättvisa åt premiumsegmentet. Icke desto mindre fungerar de två AiO:erna bra och kyler systemet på ett tillförlitligt sätt. De två pumparna gjorde sig dock påminda akustiskt. I längden är detta obehagligt och med tanke på inköpspriset på 5099 euro (~5722 dollar) är det inte heller något man behöver acceptera. Men kylsystemets design är fortfarande höjdpunkten utöver de mest aktuella komponenterna. Med den Intel Core i9-12900Kfinns den snabbaste spel-CPU:n, som i kombination med ett aktuellt moderkort inklusive DDR5 RAM och enNvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Tigör det möjligt att spela i 4K utan några kompromisser. Dessutom finns det även en 2 TB SSD med mycket bra överföringshastigheter.

Tack vare en Intel Core i9-12900K CPU och en Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU ger Corsair One i300 4K-spelprestanda med minsta möjliga utrymme.

En premiumprodukt har naturligtvis också sitt pris. Med 5099 euro (~5722) för vår testenhet är detta inte direkt billigt, och vi ska ändå inte tala illa om de separata komponenterna. Fodralet är inte av hyllan och kan inte köpas separat. Dessutom är tillgången på olika grafikkort och andra aktuella komponenter fortfarande ett problem, vilket nästan gör priset försvarbart totalt sett. Systemet är också utrustat med två AiOs som utvecklats specifikt för Corsair One-serien. Detta måste tas i beaktande när man överväger priset. Enligt vår mening skulle dock Corsair One i300 med en Intel Core i9-12900K och Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 vara det mer rimliga systemet när det gäller priset. Men då skulle RAM-minnet och SSD:n bara vara hälften så stora med 32 GB respektive 1 TB. Ett system med dessa komponenter finns tillgängligt för 4099 euro (4562 dollar). Prestandaunderskottet för Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 jämfört med Ti-modellen är begränsat och acceptabelt.

Pris och tillgänglighet

Vid tidpunkten för detta test kan enheten köpas direkt från Corsair för 5 000 dollar. Alternativt kan den mindre modellen också köpas från Amazon för 4 000 dollar.
