Eurocom Blitz Ultra recension av bärbar dator: En professionell lösning som är lätt att använda

Omdöme - Mycket användbar, men i behov av fler visningsalternativ

Eurocom Blitz Ultra känner sin publik och utmärker sig därför med specifika funktioner som möjligheten att konfigurera utan webbkamera och en design som är lätt att använda och inte lika sluten eller integrerad som konsumentinriktade alternativ från stora varumärken. Det enkla logotypfria utseendet är gjort för att passa in i princip alla scenarier samtidigt som det är rimligt bärbart med tanke på den stora 16-tums skärmstorleken.

Aspekter som kan förbättras är bland annat avsaknaden av skärmalternativ och den starka tendensen att fläktarna pulserar om de inte är inställda på tyst läge. Det förstnämnda är särskilt nedslående eftersom den medföljande 1200p IPS-panelen är av lägre kvalitet än väntat och därför inte lämpar sig för grafikredigering eller andra applikationer där färgåtergivning är viktigt. Den är också ganska svag och ger dålig synlighet utomhus. Samtidigt kan fläktarna bli ganska högljudda och märkbara i prestandaläget, trots att processorn inte är lika snabb eller effektiv som några av de senaste AMD-lösningarna. Lenovo ThinkPad Lenovo ThinkPad T16-serien erbjuder fler skärm- och processoralternativ i det avseendet.

Blitz Ultra är Eurocoms tunna och lätta multimedia- och kontorsmodell som levereras med Meteor Lake-H CPU-alternativ. Den avstår från diskreta GPU:er för en mer portabel formfaktor.

Alternativen sträcker sig från Core Ultra 5 125H till Core Ultra 7 155H medan 1200p IPS-skärmen förblir fast i alla SKU:er. En 14-tumsmodell finns också tillgänglig med samma CPU-alternativ. Eurocom-modellerna är särskilt attraktiva för många statliga och privata industrier eftersom de är lätta att serva och demontera.

Fallet

Den mattsvarta och silverfärgade designen är baserad på Clevo V5x0TU white label som består av mestadels metallegering för det yttre locket och basen. Även om den är MIL-STD 810H-certifierad kan dess tunna chassimaterial ändå vridas och böjas lättare än tätare unibody-design som Razer Blade 16. Om du till exempel trycker ner tangentbordets mitt kommer ytan att bli synligt skev mycket mer än på andra avancerade 16-tumsmodeller som HP Spectre x360 16 eller Lenovo ThinkPad T16.

Storlek och vikt är annars genomsnittliga för kategorin med vissa konkurrenter som Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G7 IML är något tunnare och lättare.

Anslutningsmöjligheter

Portalternativen är bra, men kom ihåg att de två USB-C-portarna inte är identiska eftersom endast en av dem stöder Thunderbolt 4 och DisplayPort. Portarna är annars snyggt åtskilda från varandra till skillnad från på Asus VivoBook Pro 16 där de flesta portarna är trängda ihop.

Hållbarhet

Tillverkaren uppger inte vilka hållbarhetsåtgärder som vidtagits under tillverkningen. Förpackningen består till största delen av kartong med skyddsskum och plast.

Tillbehör och garanti

Det finns inga extra tillbehör i lådan förutom den vanliga nätadaptern och papper. Den vanliga ettåriga begränsade tillverkargarantin gäller med möjlighet att uppgradera till tre år.

Skrivupplevelsen är likartad på de flesta Eurocom-modeller eftersom de alla kan härledas till Clevo- eller Tongfang-design. I det här fallet är tangentbordet identiskt med det på Raptor X17 förutom den nu obligatoriska Co-Pilot-tangenten. Klaffandet är tystare än på många andra 16-tums bärbara datorer, om än på bekostnad av mjukare feedback.

Pekplatta

Klickplattan har en anständig storlek (8,3 x 12,2 cm) och är responsiv för markörstyrning. Återkopplingen när du klickar är dock på den svampiga sidan och är opålitlig för multi-touch-aktiviteter.

Display

IPS-skärmen är så grundläggande som den kan bli med sina ~60 procent sRGB-färger, 60 Hz uppdateringsfrekvens och en medioker maximal ljusstyrka på 255 nit. Mer moderna IPS-skärmar, till exempel den på MSI Summit A16 AI Pluserbjuder mycket bättre färger, snabbare uppdateringsfrekvenser och en ljusare bakgrundsbelysning för märkbart bättre bildkvalitet och synlighet utomhus.

Vi ställde in Control Center på prestandaläge innan vi körde nedanstående benchmarks. Ägare rekommenderas att bekanta sig med den förinstallerade programvaran eftersom den är navet för att styra de flesta funktioner i systemet.

Processor

Processorprestanda ligger inom några få procentenheter från den genomsnittliga bärbara datorn i vår databas med samma Core Ultra 7 155H CPU. Tyvärr är det lite mer än en ommärkning av förra årets Core i7-13700H och den ännu äldre Core i7-12700H vilket i bästa fall innebär minimala vinster jämfört med året innan.

GPU-prestanda

Bågen Arc 8 GPU är knappt ett år gammal och ligger redan efter de senaste alternativen från AMD. Det är Radeon 880Mkan till exempel överträffa vår GPU med upp till 30 procent enligt det DX11-baserade Fire Strike -riktmärket för att vara ungefär i nivå med förra årets Radeon 780M. Stresstest

Kärntemperaturen låg runt 90 C när Prime95 kördes, vilket är varmare än vad vi skulle vilja ha för ett system i H-serien. Den mer kraftfulla Ryzen 9 MSI toppmöte A16 AI Plusskulle till exempel stabiliseras närmare 80 C-intervallet. Paketets effekt ökade till 60 W i början av testet innan den nästan omedelbart sjönk till 53 W.

När Cyberpunk 2077 kördes för att representera typisk spelstress stabiliserades kärntemperaturen vid 72 C jämfört med 75 C på ovannämnda MSI under liknande förhållanden.

Strömförbrukning

Strömförbrukningen vid tomgångskörning är inte märkbart högre än ThinkBook 16 G7 eller MSI Summit A16 AI som drivs av Core-U respektive Ryzen AI 9-processorer. När du kör Cyberpunk 2077 skulle dock den genomsnittliga förbrukningen vara nästan identisk med MSI-systemet även om vår Intel GPU är mycket långsammare för sämre prestanda per watt. Liknande resultat kan också hittas när du kör Prime95.

Vi kan registrera en maximal dragning på 103 W från den lilla (~ 12,5 x 5 x 3 cm) 90 W AC-adaptern av fat-typ. Vi skulle vilja se modellen gå över helt till USB-C-laddning för framtida iterationer.
