Apple lanserar återigen en utmärkt produkt i form av iPad Pro 9.7, som övertygar med välkända styrkor och svagheter. Du får en utmärkt skärm, bra batteritid, de bästa kamerorna i en surfplatta, eSIM-stöd, samt stöd för Apple Pencin och Smart Keyboard. Vi hade uppskattat en mer kraftfull nätadapter med snabbladdning.
Symbiosen av iPad Air 2 och iPad Pro 12.9 är ganska lyckad, men också mycket dyr. Som kompensation har plattan bra prestanda och bra högtalare. Instegsmodellen lär inte vara tillräcklig om du planerar att lagra t.ex. film på enheten, och som vanligt är mer lagring dyrt.
I likhet med den större Pro-modellen är 9,7-tummaren en kraftfull enhet, men den kan knappast ersätta en bärbar dator. Begränsningarna är alldeles för många till antalet och användbarheten som arbetsmaskin påverkas ofta av den lilla skärmen. Pro 12.9 är mycket bättre lämpad för eventuella "proffsändamål".
IPad Pro 9.7 är en surfplatta för användare som inte är villiga att kompromissa. Om du däremot bara är ute efter en ren underhållningsmaskin är Air 2 fortfarande fullt tillräcklig, eller så kan du spara ännu mer och välja en Androidplatta. Professionella användare kommer att ha större nytta av iPad Pro 12.9 eller Surface Pro 4. Pixel C är ett annat intressant alternativ.
