Asus X570UD bevisar att man inte behöver en Intel HQ-klassad CPU för att spela dom senaste spelen. Kaby Lake R-serien på 15W erbjuder en prestandanivå som ligger mellan 45 wattsmodellerna Core i5-7300HQ och i7-7700HQ som ofta återfinns i billigare spellaptops. Dom lägre kylkraven innebär ett lättare och mer portabelt system utan att kärntemperaturerna blir obekväma eller att spelprestandan behöver offras. Kombinationen av i7-8550U och GTX 1050 är något vi gärna ser i fler tunna och lätta modeller, inte olikt den äldre Blade 14 med sin kombination av i7-7500U och GTX 960M.
Det finns förstås några nedskärningar som man behöver vara medveten om då Vivobook är ett budget/mitten-alternativ. Ett svagt tangentbord och en svag styrplatta lämnar ett billigt intryck och dom dåliga servicemöjligheterna står i vägen för användare som vill uppgradera lagring eller RAM. Men utöver dessa nackdelar är X570UD/K570UD en välbalanserad enhet för studenter på resande fot som vill ha något billigt och lätt som dessutom klarar av att spela dom senaste spelen.
Lättare än Dell G5, Lenovo Legion Y520 och Gigabyte Sabre 15 samtidigt som den är precis lika kraftfull och billig. Asus Vivobook K570UD/X570UD byter ut lyxen mot en skaplig kärnupplevelse och respektabel spelförmåga.
