Inspiron 7577 är ett fantastiskt spelsystem för sitt pris tack vare sin starka bas, innanmäte som går att nå och en GTX 1060 Max-Q GPU. Bara bytet av GPU har gjort maskinen tystare, snabbare och effektivare än alla Inspiron 7567 SKU:er. Det är inte varje dag som en direkt efterföljare erbjuder en 35 till 70 procents ökning i grafikprestanda för en mager ökning av energiåtgång på 5 till 10 procent och fortfarande lyckas ha tystare fläktar vid spelande.
Jämförd med konkurrenter som Omen 15 (7700HQ, GTX 1060 Max-Q) eller MSI GF62VR (7700HQ, GTX 1060) så utklassar Dell enkelt båda. Energiåtgången är runt 40 procent lägre än MSI för en väldigt liten 5 till 10 procents minskning i grafikprestanda. Med detta har fläktljudet tydligt minskat och batteritiden räcker flera timmar längre. Systemet lyckas till och med vara tystare än Omen 15 trots att de har samma Max-Q GPU och samma 3D prestanda-poäng. Släng in en Thunderbolt 3 och ett lågt utgångspris på ~7 500 SEK ($900 USD) och Inspiron 7577 har snabbt blivit får favorit bland spellaptops för under 10 000 SEK.
Ett par huvudsakliga nackdelar separerar Inspiron 7577 från dyrare modeller såsom Alienware 15 eller Aorus X5. För det första så saknar 1080p-skärmen en del funktionalitet. Färgerna är ingen match för panelerna på tidigare nämnda system, där >90 procent av sRGB-täckning är möjlig. Trots att dom är skarpa på Dell så är färgerna helt enkelt inte så djupa som dom hade kunnat vara. Vi hade glatt gett upp 4K UHD-skärmen hos den mer exklusiva Inspiron 7577-konfigurationen om det hade inneburit att serien fått G-Sync, snabbare responstider på skärmen, mer exakta färger och starkare bakgrundsbelysning. För det andra är tangentbordets knappar mjukare än förväntat av en 15-tums spellaptop. Vi vet redan att Dell kan bättre än så här, vilket har bevisats av dom överlägsna tangentborden hos Latitude- och XPS-serierna, så det finns ingen anledning till varför Inspiron inte kunde fått liknande behandling. Andra mindre klagomål såsom bristen på tangent-specifik RGB-belysning, en väldigt långsam SD-kortläsare, svagare högtalare och en relativt hög vikt är mindre avgörande för spelupplevelsen jämfört med tangentbordskomfort, skärm, ljudnivå och prestanda.
Inspiron 7577 är den bästa spellaptopen för användare med en snäv budget. Den är förvånansvärt tyst och uthållig med stark grafikprestanda som går bortom det pris som begärs. Skärmen och tangentbordet är dom två aspekter som känns som att dom är på "budget-nivå" i detta i övrigt utmärkta instegs-erbjudande.
