MSI GF63 sänker inträdespriset till världen av bärbara speldatorer med tunn skärminfattning till endast 7.500 kronor, och den är betydligt mindre och lättare än konkurrenterna i samma priskategori. Om du vill ha en laptop för genomsnittligt spelande som dessutom är tillräckligt portabel för skolarbete och kostar under 10.000 så är GF63 ett utmärkt alternativ. Dess kombinationen av spelprestanda, pris och mobilitet var otänkbar för bara ett år sedan då tunn infattning var begränsad till dyra flaggskeppsmodeller såsom XPS 15 9560 eller Gigabyte Aero 15X.
För att kunna erbjuda en såpass lätt spellaptop på 15.6 tum har MSI fått släppa ett flertal funktioner som fanns på GF62VR. Man bör känna till att GF63 är mer effektiviserad och saknar numeriskt tangentbord, tre zoners RGB-belysning och SD-kortläsare. Den som önskar GTX 1060-grafik har dessutom otur då det bäst presterande alternativet är GTX 1050 Ti Max-Q. Spelprestandan är som tur är pålitlig när datorn är ansluten till ett nätuttag och den har skaplig batteritid för mindre krävande uppgifter.
De största problemen vi upplevde med detta system var styrplattans svampiga knappar och att chassit kunde varit fastare jämfört med andra tunt infattade modeller på 15.6 tum såsom Asus GL504, HP Spectre x360 15, Razer Blade 15 eller tidigare nämnda modeller från Dell och Gigabyte. Men jämfört med alternativen i dess eget prisskikt såsom Gigabyte Sabre 15, Dell G7 och Acer Nitro 5 så är GF63 ett totalt sett lättare och mångsidigare alternativ.
MSI GF63 uppnår en bättre balans mellan pris, mobilitet och spelprestanda än många av dess konkurrenter tack vare den nya designen med tunn infattning. Om du är en gamer som behöver tänka på budgeten och söker något kraftigare än en traditionell Ultrabook men inte vill ha något som väger mer är GF62 ett bra alternativ.
