Moderna hybrider är både mobila och kraftfulla – en passivt kyld Core M-processor är knappast långsammare än en vanlig stationär dator i många vardagssituationer. Men Toshibas konkurrenter, inklusive Lenovo eller Dell, använder samma hårdvaruplattform för sina enheter, så varför ska du betala mycket mer för Portege Z20t när du kan få en ThinkPad Helix 2 eller Venue 11 Pro till ett mycket lägre pris?

Vi måste vara rättvisa och poängtera att Toshiba skickar med många tillbehör som är tillval till konkurrenterna. Förutom två pekpennor och integrerad LTE-modul ingår Keyboard Dock med det sekundära batteriet, vilket möjliggör extremt lång batteritid.

Den matta pekskärmen är en annan unik egenskap och ökar användbarheten utomhus. Kvaliteten är klanderfri; byggkvaliteten är mycket bra och inmatningsenheterna utmärkta för produktiva skribenter.

Totalt sett är Portege Z20t en intressant enhet för välbemedlade företagskunder som letar efter en mångsidig arbetsmaskin med mycket uthållighet. Privatanvändare som kan undvara vissa funktioner och säkerhetslösningar bör jämföra med de billigare rivalerna.
